WFH days made my makeup products last longer than they used to haha. Today, we are going to talk about eyeliners. Recently, I have seen a lot of mentions of this brand on douyin so I bought some of their products to try. Is this what they mean by #tiktokmademebuyit?

Packaging
Perfect Diary has one of the best packagings. This eyeliner comes in a matte tube.
It has a felt tip brush and snaps close tightly. Classy and sturdy.
Available in two colours - black and brown. I bought the black one and the colour is solid black. Really like how dark this turns out. Some people may prefer a lighter colour payoff so take note.

On eyes
Can draw a tight line easily. I tried to draw lower lashes - it was good for a while before disappearing.
Smudge-proof/lastingness
It will take a moment to dry but once it is fully dried, it does not smudge very much.Here's our mini smudge test 1 minute after drawing.

It smudged a little when we rubbed the thicker line drawn after 1 min. You will have to wait slightly longer for it to completely dry. As for thinner lines, 1 min or less should do the job.
Waterproof and will not smudge when washed with water. It is less oil-proof though. Will have to touch up the end of my eye line mid-day.
Wear Test
Usually not much issue for 1 full day. I tested it for 6 hours (indoors, cooking) and thankfully they are still decent at the end of the day.
Beginner-proof?
Usually, a pen-tip eyeliner is easier to manage for new users. The tip is on the softer side thus it might not be as easy to control.However, you will be able to draw precise lines and angles with the sharp tip. Comes out clean and smooth and in the right amount.
Removal
Can be removed using micellar water but I usually use an eye makeup remover (oil-based) to ensure I get everything off.
Overall
For the price point, I really don't have much to complain about. Perfect Diary runs A LOT of discounts, I am not complaining. Got this at almost 50% off ($5.90 instead of $9.90) during the flash sale. You can look out for it on Shopee.
The colour is very dark and it lasts a long time. Some came off at the end of the day but honestly, it does not come off easily unless you use a make-up remover. Can wear pretty well with very few smudges at the end of the day.
I am still hunting for the best eyeliner, please recommend me if you have anything you cannot live without.
